BELIEFS

We believe in one true God, the eternal King, Creator, and Redeemer of all things. He is perfectly holy, just, loving, and truthful, and He has revealed Himself to be eternally self-existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, given to guide our lives, faith, and ministry. It is the ultimate source of truth and the foundation upon which we build our beliefs and practices.

We believe that humankind was created in the image of God to know and enjoy Him. However, through willful rebellion, humanity chose to reject the Lordship of God, and as a result, sin, sickness, death, and judgment entered the world. All creation now experiences the consequences of sin, but through Jesus Christ, there is hope for restoration.

We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the one and only Son of God, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He is both true God and true man. He lived a sinless life, was crucified for our sins, died, was buried, and was resurrected. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father. He is alive today and is coming again to judge the living and the dead, bringing fulfillment to God's Kingdom.

We believe that salvation is a gift from God, given by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. We are saved from sin and death, restored to fellowship with God, and made part of His eternal family. Through repentance, belief, and receiving Jesus as Savior and Lord, we enter the Kingdom of God, and the Holy Spirit begins the work of transformation in our lives.

We believe in the ongoing, sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit. By His indwelling, Christians are empowered to live holy lives, walk in victory, and be equipped for ministry. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is poured out on believers, as described in Acts 1:4-8 and 2:4, giving us the power to be witnesses of Jesus Christ to the world.

We believe that the victorious work of Christ on the cross has broken the power of sin, sickness, lies, and torment. Through His redemptive work, we are set free to walk in the fullness of God's Kingdom, experiencing His healing, deliverance, and restoration.

We believe in the Church, the Body of Christ, which consists of all who put their faith in Jesus Christ. The Church exists to glorify God, carry on the ministry of Jesus, and advance His Kingdom on earth. Through the ordinances of baptism and communion, the Church proclaims the death, resurrection, and return of Jesus. We are called to disciple the nations, teaching them to love and obey God.

We believe in the ever-increasing government of God and in the Blessed Hope, the glorious, visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ. At His return, He will establish His Kingdom fully on earth, and His Church will reign with Him forever.

We believe in the reality of heaven and hell. There will be a resurrection of the dead, with the lost being resurrected to everlasting death and the saved to eternal life in the presence of God.
