Here at Windword, our heart is for family to thrive together. That means having a place where connection can grow deeper than solely a Sunday service. Our connect groups foster a welcoming atmosphere where value and connection thrive through stories, testimonies, discussions, activities, and good food. We have various connect groups that meet different times throughout the week depending on your availability.

We are designed for family
“God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord”. 1 Corinthian 1:9
We as believers are all a part of the family of God. All through the Bible you can see the emphasis the Lord puts on healthy family by raising, equipping, and loving well. This tells us that family is important to God and therefore should be important to us as well. There’s so many scriptures that emphasize how we are all a part of one family, adopted into His, co-heirs with Christ, and all called to do life together.
We grow deeper together
“As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.” Proverbs 27:17
The beautiful thing about being in a community of like-minded, like-hearted individuals is we're able to help each other grow deeper and see the Lord in new ways. God uses those around us to speak to us and encounter us.
We help each other
“A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.” Proverbs 17:17
We’re not perfect, although we aim to be like Jesus. We need each other to hold up our arms when we don’t feel like we have the strength to. Sometimes, we need people that are going to be as inspired and elated as we are about something God is doing. Connect groups help us to see God, experience God, and know God in a fresh way together and not solely alone.
