Pastoral Care

John is an associate pastor and elder of Windword Church in Langley, British Columbia. He has served in various ministries for the past 41 years which includes initiating two church plants, is an international speaker and has supported several ministries over the years.

He is a teacher of several different ministries: Prayer, Introductory Christian studies, Sozo, leadership courses and Critical Incident Stress.

He’s also the Chaplain for the British Columbia Ambulance since 1989 to date.

John and Lona have been happily married since 1968. They have two children and four grandchildren, all of whom are intimately acquainted with the Lord.

John’s heart (that of a revivalist) is to see people healed and whole and equipped to do the work that they are called to accomplish in the Kingdom of God. Most importantly, he wants to see people come into their true identity in Christ and know the Father’s heart for them.

John has been serving as an Associate Pastor since 2012 with Windword Ministries and continues to be excited with the amazing things that Father is doing in our lives and in our ministry.
